How important is it to keep traditions alive? I believe  it’s a lot when you have left your comfort and culture behind. The moment I realized I would be leaving my country, I forced my mom to teach me to make one of the most important sweets of my hometown so it’s never lost. Made with care and our own hands this is a display of me passing a piece of my mom and my ancestor and immortalizing our memories.
