Running is a sport that requires a lot of discipline and effort. In New York City it is normal to constantly see people running in parks. Sharick dedicated herself to capturing the effort and discipline of these people. Running is one of the sports she admires most. She is a beginner runner and seeing the effort of the runners is a great inspiration for her and she feels that it would be good for it to be recognized by others. The photos were taken in different places including competitions and marathons to better portray the different athletes in a natural way.
